    My delivery driver called to tell me they’d be arriving between 11 &12 o’clock on the morning of my delivery. They arrived at 11.10 approximately. They unpacked the oven, positioned it as close to where I wanted it & said that I could use some of the shelves from my old oven in my new oven to add more levels if I wanted.     I placed the order on Monday and it was installed by Two very polite and efficient operators before 9 am on the Wednesday.

    However, I would like to say that I placed an order to 3 weeks ago and the engineers who delivered it did not even attempt to fit it Saying that there was a gas pipe in the back that was dangerous. I called British Gas Engineer who came and moved the pipe at great expense even though they said that it was cosmetically not nice but perfectly safe as it was. I believe the engineer made it decision , to not attempt to fit the new oven based purely on the statistics of the measurements not actually trying. This is led to lengthy hassles.

    However, I am now happy so far today thank you for that.

    Today’s delivery was good, on time and done neatly. My only gripe is that the first time, the delivery was scheduled to come in a 4 hour slot last Sunday. I had to go out in the morning, but I was back for the start of my “slot”. The delivery team came about 20 minutes early and were unable to reach me as I mydriving “do not disturb” was on. They didn’t wait until the actual start of my time slot so I missed them -and my final delivery was delayed 5 days which, when you’re without an oven, isn’t great.

    I recently had my kitchen renovated and it was my first time having a built in oven. On the first delivery, my Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse team had to fit a fuse spur due to the lower wattage needed than a hard wire provides but also, they realised that the oven wouldn’t fit into the gap because of the preexisting placement of the electrics from where I had a free standing oven. I had my electrician move everything back and the Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse team came out and fitted everything.

    The team were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about various aspects including clearances because I was anxious about it all working. Would use them again.

    The overall purchase experience was positive as the website offered the types of products I was seeking. The less positive aspects were the add ones, for example I was purchasing a replacement oven and hob, these items were charged at £130.00 per item for fitting adding £260.00 to the price! The items were also advertised as requiring an electrician to fit, I chose to have just the oven fitted as it was the more complex item and left the wiring in place for me to reconnect a hob. The oven arrived with a plug fitted so didn’t need an electrician but they used the hob wiring to fit a plug socket leaving a more complicated fitting for the hob.
    So great promise from the website and less so on delivery. I do feel the fitting costs are excessive.

    The appliances themselves are not the greatest in the sense that I have had manufacturing faults on more than 1 item, 2 faulty water tanks on 2 different tumble dryers, broken oven light, its more manufactor related not Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse however it is sorted within that month and after that never once have I had to call nor has any of my appliances broken, I’ve just needed to upgrade and my appliances go off to family members who continue to love and use them.
