    I couldn’t be happier with both the product & service. Not only was my cooker installed & instructions given perfectly but I also asked the engineer if he’d look at my under sink plumbing to see if a dishwasher could be fitted easily next. This was above & beyond as it wasn’t what he was here to do but I always find Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse staff members very friendly & approachable so I felt comfortable to ask.     It was fairly easy to order a new cooker. I looked at reviews of the one I was interested in. I had to pay extra for taking away my broken cooker and connection of new one and an unpacking fee, so that took the cost up to just shy of £500.00. Everything was tested before disconnection of old cooker and new one was tested before and after connection. The guys that delivered my new cooker were lovely and really professional.
    My only complaint was the amount of emails regarding the delivery and a phonecall trying to sell me a service plan for repairs ect. Surely the consumer rights act should cover me if it is faulty within the first year?

    We got there in the end and installed a new dual fuel range cooker. But, …… arrival was brought with what seemed problems and reason why it couldn’t be installed, starting with a small wood splashback that’s been there for 20years and never caught fire but new regs need it removing. We cut it out. Next problem was the wire through a duct in the wall needed up sizing for new cooker. After various mansplanning to my wife, as I had to step out for 20mins, they pulled the old wire out without connecting the new wire and pulling it though. I returned to have them about to leave as they couldn’t get the new cable though. I pulled the new cable though in less than 2 mins and finally we could go with the install. So the ending was an installed cooker but the hassle to get there was disappointing. I know regulations change but the attitude of it was all too hard didn’t land well with us.

    The 2nd planned visit failed due to an issue with Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse financial system.

    3rd attempt was aborted due to Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse staff saying the meter wasn’t earthed, electrician tested and all working fine.

    I brought an Electra cooker from Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse, had it less than a month and the door warped and handle broke.
    Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse tried to mediate talks between myself and Electra, who refused to do anything despite the cooker being unusable and less than a month old as the warranty only covers mechanical faults!
    Jordan at Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse was nothing short of fantastic, he called back exactly when he said he would, and when Electra refused to help, Jordan arranged for Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse to replace the cooker, remove the faulty one and fit the new one – at no charge to me. I was blown away by this customer service, the new cooker (which Jordan also allowed me to change so it was not an Electra one – wouldn’t touch another Electra product if you paid me!) arrived today, fitted and working in less than a week since I made the call.

They did a thorough check of the electrical connections on both the old and new cookers, and ensured that the obligatory safety chain was fitted to a strong part of the back wall.
