The website was relatively easy to use but when viewing the list of available fridges and then pressing the back button it sometimes would just default back to the start of the list which was not helpful, so repeated scrolling was necessary. The number of bags of shopping a fridge can hold along with the reviews was the points that swung me the most to makes my decision along with price of course. Once ordered the delivery day was just in two days time. One point to note is that they charge you separately for taking the old one away and installation which to be honest I find truly bizarre. I do wonder where true customer service has gone. I’ve never known anything like it. Years back merchants would deliver the goods, take the old away, clear up and install the new ones as a matter of it being the perfectly normal thing you do when a customer is paying a lot of money for an item. The other thing where LifestyleHomeApplianceWarehouse.com would do well to improve on is their call handling, there was so much noise behind their represe tative that I had to struggle to hear what he said and additionally Ive never heard a yone speak so quickly when reading out terms etc, that was rather odd. It surprised .e that he a tually thought I could digest a word he was saying. Regarding the delivery, the customer service representative informed me that I would get a four hour deli ery window the night before the deli ery day which would be any time before 07:00 hrs to 19:00 hrs. That didn’t happen which was stressful as I felt I’d now have to be up in time for 07:00 hrs just in case they came at that time. Eventually they had sent me an email by the morning. The delivery men were excellent, friendly and careful. We now have a lovely new fridge. So overall I am happy but constructive criticism I hope is received well and listened to.

    Yesterday, we had a disaster when the new fridge freezer would not fit up the stairs. I have to say that Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse and their team were professional, courteous and although trying for 3/4 hour had to admit defeat.
    I was put on to customer services who were superb. Within 10mts a different make was recommended, and delivery arrange for this morning. It was slightly cheaper and my money was refunded without question.

    Have ordered a number of things from Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse over the years and never had any problems.

    This week they delivered a new fridge/freezer and it was only as they were about to drive away that we noticed a scratch on the side. Granted it was barely visible but you could feel it and obvs there was the potential for it to rust over time. The delivery guy phoned in and I spoke to someone who immediately offered a discount but I chose not to accept this for the reason above, i.e. potential to rust. There was absolutely no argument over it and I arranged to have a new one delivered 2 days later.

    Throughout the guys who delivered were polite as was the person on the phone. Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse customer service cannot be faulted in my experience.

    I also like their communication on the day they deliver an item. Email at 6.30 a.m giving a 4hr window, they then phone about an hour before they get to you and you can track their van using a link from their email.

    The only reason I’m not giving 5 starts, and I would like to give less but it would be unfair to the rest of the service, is the sales team for additional insurance were incredibly pushy. I received a phone call about the additional insurance Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse offer and when I declined the insurance (as I was out in public and no access to bank details), the gentleman (Glenn?) on the phone became very pushing and rude. Initially I was unable to access my bank details and when I stated that I would consider giving the details later and signing up later, the gentleman became somewhat argumentative and rude. He later called back and yet again was rude and dismissive about declining the insurance, this time he was unimpressed I had discussed with another member of the household and decided we didn’t want the insurance.

    I cannot fault the rest of the process but in complete honesty, it had slightly put me off ordering any more appliances from Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse in the future as I do not want that experience again. Also used the EXTRA10 discount code for an extra saving.

    The couple who delivered our fridge were fantastic. They took our old fridge out for recycling, then unpacked and brought in our fridge. We didn’t have to do anything. They were also very aware of our kittens and made sure they were safe.

    It was easy enough to order the fridge freezer I wanted from Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse and I did it over the phone. Of course they tried to sell me insurance even though it already guaranteed for 5 years. I was disappointed to have paid the fee for joining Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse and then to be told that I had to dispose of the packaging myself or pay £15 for them to do it and £20 for them to plug in the freezer. These prices should be taken away after paying almost £50 to join
