Put our old fridge/freezer outside and it was collected without any issues. Only cost £30 which was far cheaper than hiring a man with a van to take it the tip, and the council service was fully booked up for several months and I couldn’t wait. Didn’t realise Lifestyle Home Appliance Warehouse had this service but now I know it’s here and I’ve used it, I recommend it to anyone needing items gone. I got the email just after 6am which gave me a 4 hour timeframe. I then received a phone call from the driver confirming he would be with us within a narrowed down two hour time slot. I couldn’t afford to pay extra for a time slot, so had to get up at 6.30am and the fridge didn’t come till about 4.20pm. I was initially told it would come between 7 and 7, then later in the day that it would be between 12.30 and 4.30pm. Although there was tracking information , this didn’t seem reliable as the number of those getting a delivery before me went up as well as down. I do feel that the company could allocate a 2 or 4 hour delivery window the night before for free.

Price of delivery was, I think, too expensive, along with disposing of the old freezer, though I do appreciate that disposal has a cost due to the gases etc. But the free delivery was more expensive than I think was justified. The delivery itself was good, being given a time slot early on was appreciated and the delivery guys were great. The chest freezer seems really good so far, fits perfectly where I needed it and stores a good amount of food and fairly quiet.

The delivery guys were amazing, took my old appliance and put my new one in position despite a few issues with my 300 yr old farmhouse kitchen having low ceilings and beams.
